Publipage Inc. (doing business as Lanla) and its group of companies (“Lanla”, “Circle6”, “we”, “us”, “our”) are committed to protect your privacy and your personal data.

This privacy policy (the “Policy”) describes how we collect, use, store and disclose your personal data and how such personal data may be accessed and corrected as necessary for the purposes of your use of our Platforms (software as a service): web application “Hexia” available at www.hexia.app, “Lanla” available at Lanla.com and each participating addresses, allowing, among other things, customers of participating businesses to provide feedback on their experience by answering questionnaires, and participating businesses to listen to the needs of their customer via social networks or otherwise (collectively with the Platform, the “Services”).

This Policy also explains the use of cookies on our Platform.

This Policy does not apply to third party websites, platforms or other content, even those that may be accessible by clicking on certain hyperlinks displayed on the Platform. Lanla is therefore not responsible for such third parties’ privacy policies, procedures or practices.

2. COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

We collect your personal data when you submit information via our Services in order to give your opinion on your experience with commerces using the Platform, when you communicate with us in any way, post on our social media accounts, etc. The personal data we collect may include, as applicable to the participating commerces that you have visited and for which you have submitted your opinions and answers to the questions asked via the Platform; and  your opinion on the participating commerces and your answers submitted via the Platform about such participating commerces.

We also collect the following personal data, optionnally, i.e. if you choose to submit it via the Platform or if you contact us by these means:  your first name;  your name; your email address; and/or your phone number.

We also collect information about your visit to our Platform. This information may include your IP address, the date, time and duration of your visits, the unique identifier of your mobile device, your internet browser, and the web pages you visited.

Our Platform, like most other commercial websites, also uses cookies. These are files that are installed on your computer’s hard drive or browser to collect information such as your language preferences, browsing history, and browser type and version, all with the goal of optimizing your experience on our Platform. We use cookies to compile aggregate data about traffic and interactions on our Platform in order to improve the experience and tools on our Platform in the future. We may also use trusted third parties to collect this information on our behalf. These cookies cannot be used to retrieve personal data. You can choose, in the settings of most Internet browsers, to receive a warning on your computer each time a cookie is sent, or you can choose to disable all cookies. However, disabling cookies on your browser may adversely affect your browsing experience on our Platform.

In particular, we use Google Analytics in order to count the number of visitors to the Platform, the most frequently visited pages, the type of device used by users, the websites that referred you to our Platform and the country of origin of Internet users visiting the Platform. We also use this tool in conjunction with Google Ads to perform targeted advertising on the Internet.

3. USE OF PERSONAL DATA

We take steps to ensure that only employees who need to access your personal data in the course of their duties have access to it. We use your personal data primarily in the following ways and for the following purposes: Operate, maintain and report on customer satisfaction trends in various industries (restaurants, bars, hotels, specialty stores, etc.);  Understand and analyze user trends and preferences, improve the Platform and develop new products, services and features; Any other purpose required under applicable law including, without limitation, any direction, order, recommendation or epidemiological investigation by any governmental health authority; and If you have consented to it, to communicate with you promotional information and offer you advantageous products and services (in particular: the sending of newsletters, mystery shopping mission offers, commercial offers, white papers or surveys to evaluate your level of satisfaction with respect to companies in various sectors via a questionnaire).

4. COMMUNICATION OF PERSONAL DATA

We disclose your personal data to the following third parties:

Service providers who have contracted with us so that we can provide you with the Services, such as Microsoft Azure to host the Services and Google Analytics to obtain statistics on the use of the Platform. When we disclose your personal data to service providers, such personal data is subject to the privacy policies of those service providers and we therefore strongly recommend that you consult them.

Applicable law enforcement authorities if such communication is necessary to comply with applicable laws. For example, we may disclose personal data if we are required to do so by law or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable laws, in response to a court order or a subpoena or a government search warrant, or otherwise to cooperate with such government authorities and law enforcement agencies.

In the event of a transfer of ownership, sale, merger, amalgamation, liquidation, reorganization or acquisition of Lanla, in whole or in part, your personal data may be transferred to the acquiring or resulting entity as part of that transaction. This also includes the transfer of your personal data as part of the due diligence before such transactions.

5. RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data is stored and used in Canada but may also be transmitted to any other Canadian province as well as to the United States. By using our Services, you consent to the transfer of personal data to the United States, which may have different privacy rules than your country. When such information is located outside of Canada, it is subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is held and may be disclosed to the governments, courts or law enforcement or regulatory agencies of that other jurisdiction in accordance with the laws of that jurisdiction.

Lanla has put in place physical, administrative, technical and technological safeguards designed to preserve the confidentiality, integrity and security of the personal data under our control, which are reasonable given the sensitivity of the information, the purposes for which it is to be used, the amount and distribution of the information and the medium on which it is stored. However, please note that no security measures are absolute or fully guaranteed.

Lanla will retain your personal data for the longest applicable period of time:

for as long as we need the personal data in order to provide our Services to you; or as required by applicable laws, regulations or government orders, including without limitation, directives, orders, recommendations of government health authorities.

6. RIGHT OF ACCESS AND RECTIFICATION

Upon written request and subject to proof of identity, you may access your personal data held by us and request that necessary corrections be made, if any, as permitted or required by applicable law.

However, to ensure that the personal data we maintain about you is accurate and up-to-date, please inform us immediately of any changes to your personal data.

7. RESPONSE TO DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS

If you are a California resident, you have the right to ask companies to stop following you on the Internet. Please note that we do not respond to do not track signals. However, if you have another request regarding your personal data, rest assured that we will do our best to help you!

8. MANAGEMENT OF YOUR COOKIES

You can manage your cookie settings yourself, and it’s easier than you think! However, certain features of our Services may require cookies to function as intended or for security purposes. You can control your cookie preferences through your browser. Depending on the browser you are using, different instructions may apply. Please visit the help pages of the internet browser you are using or contact the internet browser provider you are using directly to find out how to adjust these settings.

9. WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT TO COMMUNICATIONS

You may opt-out of receiving communications from us by mail, e-mail, telephone or other forms of communication. To do so, simply send us an email at privacy@lanla.com with “Opt Out” in the subject line and include your name and email address in the subject line.

10. UPDATE

Please check this page for changes to this Policy, which we may update from time to time. If we change the Policy, we will make the new version available on the Platform and we will comply with applicable laws. Your continued use of the Services after the revised Policy becomes effective indicates that you have read, understood and agree to the most recent version of this Policy.
