Do you have to close on a temporary basis?

MARK YOUR LOCATIONS AS BEING TEMPORARILY CLOSED

We are presently going through an unprecedented crisis in which restrictions for managing the COVID-19 pandemic are changing on a daily basis.

Your business must take special measures to keep up with new daily government restrictions and for some of you, this means temporarily closing your locations.

In order to manage the GMB listings for the businesses that need to close, Google has developed an option on the local listing dashboard to indicate that your location/locations are temporarily closed.

This option is available for each of your location pages directly in the Google My Business account.

You will now have three options to choose from:

  • Mark as temporarily closed
  • Mark as definitely closed
  • Delete the page

The final result online will be as follows:

temporarily-closed-300x228

If you wish to have your locations marked as temporarily closed, contact your LOCALTRAC specialist today and it will be with great pleasure that he will apply the recommend settings to your pages.
