Google My Business adds a “Call Now” button to Google Posts

What you need to know about Post feature in Google My business?

The product allows a business to communicate directly to their users, create Posts up to 300 characters in length and include a photo.

The Post can be further defined as an event with a date range or a call to action link can be added with a URL to a page that the business’s chooses.

Posts designated as an event will last as long as the event timeframe. Up to ten posts it will show simultaneously via a carousel type display which the user can scroll through to see those not showing in the panel.

Posts can be shared by users on social media.

What’s new?

Before the call to action options on the Google Posts was “Book”, “Order online”, “Learn more”, “Get offer”, “Sign up” and “What’s new”.

Now Google added a “Call now” button.
