GOOGLE SEARCH LAUNCHES KEY MOMENTS FOR VIDEOS IN SEARCH.

Google has introduced a new way to find exact moments in YouTube videos.

The “in this video” timeline feature in search is officially live and works for English YouTube videos.

This new feature shows a timeline of what happened in a specific video.

Users will be able to quickly find content within videos by choosing a relevant section. Google search will provide links to key moments within the video, based on timestamps and keywords provided by the content creators.

Announcers will be able to mark up their videos and make them more searchable.

Videos on YouTube are a part of any SEO strategy. If you’re planning to launch new content, you must test the impact of having key moments in your videos in search or not. The links towards specific points in YouTube videos will appear in search results in English.

You’ll be able to see if those keys moments will increase users’ interactions.
