Google adds another requirement to make sure logos look good against white backgrounds
Google has added an additional item to their logo markup schema requirements to ensure they are displayed correctly across their apps.
Companies will now need to make sure that their logo “looks how [they] intend it to look on a purely white background (for example, if the logo is mostly white or gray, it may not look how you want it to look when displayed on a white background).”
When users search for your business on Google, your logo can appear in the Search Results and in the Google Knowledge panel that appears on the right side of the Search Results. If your logo is already white or grey, take some time to review it and make changes if necessary so it will display properly.
